People say Chester’s walls protect the city… but no one tells you what they’re protecting it from. A man walks along the ancient Roman walls at dusk, filming the view, when he hears footsteps that stop the moment he turns around. The wind grows colder, and a quiet voice warns him not to finish the walk. Confused, he notices dark handprints slowly forming on the stone, as if something inside the walls is trying to get out. A deep Roman horn echoes through the fog, and when he looks again, he finds himself back where he started. He whispers, shaking, wondering how a two-mile walk brought him nowhere… and then he feels breathing beside him, close enough to touch—just as the screen cuts to black.
