The Prophet ﷺ said, “Set Salman (RA) free — we will all help!” His master set a condition: “Plant three hundred date palms and give forty ounces of gold!” The Prophet ﷺ personally planted the trees with his own blessed hands. Then one Companion brought some gold — wrapped inside a small piece of wood. The Prophet ﷺ said, “Take it, and may Allah bless it for you.” When Salman (RA) opened that piece of wood, so much gold gleamed from inside that it paid off the entire debt. Thus, he was set free and became one of the greatest Companions of Islam.
