
All the other young animals formed groups to play together. The deer ran races. The parrots practiced flying tricks. Even the baby elephants splashed in the water. Whenever Mintu tried to join, they didn’t listen. They weren’t angry at him—they were just too busy with their own teams. But Mintu felt lonely. He sat on a branch watching everyone else have fun, wishing someone would say, “Come play with us, Mintu!”
